Contacting the Practice by Telephone - Changes from Monday 13th October 2025
To help us manage calls more efficiently and ensure that patients who need urgent care can get through to us quickly, we are changing the way in which we will deal with telephone requests:
Requests for on the day appointments and housecalls will be taken from 8:00am. We operate a triage system for urgent conditions that cannot safely wait until the next routine appointment. The Reception team will ask you for some brief details and following this one of our Advanced Nurse Practitioners will contact you by telephone to assess your symptoms in the first instance.
Requests for routine GP appointments will be taken from 10:00am until 5:30pm. Routine appointments are available to book 1 week in advance with the GPs for any ongoing health concern.
All other appointment requests and general enquiries will be taken from 10:00am until 5:30pm.
This will help our Reception team to prioritise patients who need same day care while still ensuring everyone gets the help that they need.
