Pharmacy Teams work in EVERY GP Practice in Fife
GP practices have someone from the Pharmacy Team working there on most days, with larger practices having someone there every day.
Who Are the Pharmacy Team?
The team includes Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians who help patients to use their medicines safely and effectively.
A Pharmacist Can:
- Help you to manage your medicines
- Prescribe medicines
- See you in the GP practice, at home or in a care home
- Request blood tests
A Pharmacy Technician Can:
- Help you to manage your medicines
- Give you support to take your medicines, eg provide a medication chart
- See you in the GP practice, at home or in a care home
