General Practice across the Country has been struggling for years. However it has now reached a critical situation with less money, less doctors and less staff to meet the growing needs of the Scottish population. So how did we get here? More information here.
The Practice is currently experiencing an increase in demand and as a result a very high number of telephone calls. This is especially the case first thing in the morning. If your call is a routine enquiry, we would encourage you to phone after 10.30am when the telephone lines may be quieter.
Formed in 1975 Cowdenbeath Medical Practice has 9 GP Partners and a patient population of over 11,000 patients. The Practice covers an area from Halbeath in the west to Lumphinnans in the east and the villages served include Cowdenbeath, Crossgates, Lumphinnans, Kelty and Kingseat.
