Adult Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapy Services - Muscle, bone and joint problems - NHS Inform information and exercise advice & Self Referral to Physiotherapy

MSK Service treats patients who have had an injury, disease or surgery that relates to the muscles, bones, joints and peripheral nerves of the body.   Go to www.nhsinform.scot for a wealth of self help information and exercise advice.  Self referral to MSK Physiotherapy is avaialble.  Ask at Reception for a referral form

Do you have a minor ailment

Please speak to your local Pharmacist and attend the Minor Ailments Service for advice before you book an appointment with the GP.  Visit www.nhsfife.org YOUR HEALTH Community Pharmacy, for details about the Minor Ailments Service.

Pharmacy First Service (Impetigo & UTI in women aged 16-65)

Supply of antibiotics for uncomplicated UTI (urine infection) in women aged 16-65 years of age.  Supply of tpoical fusidic acid 2% (prescription cream) for mild impetigo.  All community pharmacies in NHS Fife offer this service.  Unsuitable patients will be given a referral to their GP by the Pharmacy.

Minor Injuries Unit - 24/7 Walk in Service

Minor injuries can be access 24 / 7 at Victoria Hospital and Queen Margaret Hospital

Treatment for arm wrist and hand injuries. Knee ankle and foot injuries. Back shoulder and rib injuries. Head and neck injuries in people fully conscious. Cuts and wounds which may ned dressing or stitches. Minor burns and scalds.

Go directly to Minor Injuries as you will received the most appropriate care there.

0800 0121 833 (text phone 018001 0800 0121 833 www.nhsinform.co.uk/screening/bowel  A new bowel screening kit us being launched in December 2017.  For those eligible a kit will be sent every 2 years to you.
